BAND CATEGORIES

Both a warm-up area and an instruments storage area will be available

before performances.

Bands must provide the adjudicator with a score. Remember no unauthorized copies will be permitted at the festival.

Bands must stay for the duration of their class. Directors: please ensure

students observe proper concert etiquette.

All middle school bands will be given a maximum of 45 minutes

for set up, warm-up exercises, performance and adjudication.

Secondary School and community bands will be given one hour and ensembles will be given 30 minutes including adjudication time.

Elementary/Middle School

3 selections contrasting style-no pop tunes - specify grade or grades.

Secondary School  

1 Concert March and 2 selections contrasting style - no pops - specify grade or grades.

SCHOOL JAZZ  BANDS

Elementary/Middle School Jazz Band   2 - 3 selections own choice, specify grade or grades of participants.

Secondary School Jazz Band   2-3 selections own choice, specify grade or

grades of participants.

INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE GROUPS

$150.00 per entry – one hour includes adjudication
