2010 Festival Dates & Locations

Squamish

All Squamish classes will take place at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, 1930 Diamond Rd.

Piano - April 14th and 15th   Time:  3:00 - 8:30 PM

Vocal - April 17th - Time:  Group Warm-Up 9 AM, Classes 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM 

Choral - April 18th  Time:  1:00 PM 

Whistler

All Whistler classes will take place at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, 6299 Lorimer Rd.

Piano - April 17th Time:  9:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Hi-Lites Concert/Gala

Sunday, April 18 Time:  3:00 PM at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Squamish

Tickets: $7.00  Featuring Gold Performances

Boundaries

1) All Piano & Vocal Festival classes shall be open to students who currently reside in the Howe Sound Corridor – Britannia Beach through to Pemberton.

a) International Students residing with local Homestay families for a 10 month school term are considered eligible students. Homestay parent must sign the registration form – not the teacher.

b) These students are therefore eligible to be considered for medals & scholarships

** By request only, North Vancouver piano & vocal students studying with a North Vancouver music teacher may enter the Howe Sound Music Festival with the understanding they are not eligible for any medals or scholarships. They will receive an appropriate Gold, Silver, Bronze certificate. Gold recipients will not perform at the Hi-lites concert.
